The Magister University is a non-denominational higher education organization, which offers an organic, comprehensive and systematic training, in search of a professional open to dialogue and coexistence, committed to scientific and technological knowledge, respect for human rights, nature and the conservation of the environment, as conditions for the transformation of society and the world, in search of a freer, fairer and more humane national and universal reality.
The guiding principles that guide the University in the fulfillment of its mission, inspire academic activity and base the membership of its members to university life, are: the strengthening of democratic values ??and freedom on which the Costa Rican State is based; freedom of thought and expression; pluralism; and the participation of its members in institutional life, safeguarding the hierarchies inherent in university work, providing higher education through the use of the best teaching methods and the best techniques.
