Chikushi Jogakuen's founding spirit is "the teachings of Buddha (Shaka Nyorai), in which Shinran saints were revealed, that is, human education based on the teachings of Jodo Shinshu." The lessons of "autonomy," "peace," and "gratitude" express that spirit.
"Autonomy" begins with a deep look at oneself and leads to the awareness that it is being utilized by various graces. It is to live your own life based on this awareness. "Peace" is a peaceful world created by recognizing all the existence of others and respecting each other.
And "gratitude" is to know the great grace that supports you. It is to live with gratitude for the work of life and wishing to reward the gratitude.
